From our Mandarin teacher: "I just wanted to give a special shoutout to my middle schoolers. During this difficult time the residents at the Grove of Skokie (The visit with my students during last winter is still fresh in my mind) are not able to have any visitors. They are trapped in isolation amid coronavirus. My students made the e-cards for the residents to let them know we are thinking about them. We hope the cards will brighten their days. 150 surgical masks were also donated along with the e-cards to the health care providers and the residents at the Grove of Skokie on April 10 during the spring break. We wanted them to know they are not alone. We are standing behind them and we are supporting them."
