Looking for summer plans? Look no further...apply for summer learning today!
In collaboration with our community partners, we are excited to offer a wide range of academic and enrichment summer offerings! Detailed program information is included below.
Program Grade levels below refer to students' current grade levels during SY22-23, not their rising grade levels next year.
The application window is open from February 13 to March 10, 2023. Please know that applications received during this time period are NOT first-come, first-served. Applications will be randomly ordered and selected for programs based on program priority and a family's free and reduced-price meal status.
Applications received after March 10 will be processed on a first-come, first-served basis for programs where seats are available.
Applications must be submitted via Powerschool Parent Portal (instructions below).
Questions regarding summer learning offerings should be directed to Lee Hart, Manager of Extended Learning, at hartl@district65.net or (847)-859-8076.

Notification Process
Families will be notified by the week of March 20, 2023, if their child(ren) has been accepted into the program(s) of their choice. The District will also notify families if we are not able to offer them a seat in a program. For those accepted into a program, a member of our team will contact participants about next steps.
District 65 will prioritize students who qualify for free and reduced-price meals and students who are not yet at grade level for program seats. Some programs are also limited to students with an Individualized Education Plan (IEP) or other qualifying criteria. These criteria are included in the program description.
