Incoming Kindergarteners

Kindergarten enrollment starts an exciting new adventure for children and their families. Our caring educators and principals can't wait to welcome your children to their new school! Below, you will find all the information needed to register your child for kindergarten.

Children must be five years old on or before September 1 to register for kindergarten. Students are assigned to an attendance-area school based on their residency address.

Kindergarten registration for the 2026-2027 school year opened on Monday, February 2, 2026.

Lottery applications for our selective enrollment programs and magnet schools opened February 2, 2026, and close on April 26, 2026.

Note: When registering for the current school year, a student's school start date is 2-3 business days after registration is finalized.
