Incoming Kindergarteners

Welcome to Kindergarten

Kindergarten enrollment starts an exciting new adventure for children and their families. Our caring educators and principals can't wait to welcome your children to their new school! Below, you will find all the information needed to register your child for kindergarten.

Children must be five years old on or before September 1 to register for kindergarten. Students are assigned to an attendance-area school based on their residency address.

Registration is ongoing for the 2025-2026 school year.

Registration for the 2025-2026 School Year

Kindergarten registration for the 2025-2026 school year opened on Monday, December 9, 2024.

Lottery applications for our selective enrollment programs and magnet schools opened December 9, 2024 and closes on March 21, 2025.

Note: When registering for the current school year, a student's school start date is 2-3 business days after registration is finalized.
