From new students to returning students, we are here to help seamlessly guide you through the registration process that best fits you and your child's needs. Please select any of the options below and you'll be directed to the appropriate next steps by registration type.
Please note - a student's school start date is 2-3 business days after registration is finalized.
Registration for the 2026-27 school year is open!
Children must be 5 years old on or before September 1 to register for kindergarten.

Student Registration Location and Hours
All student registrations are completed at Joseph E. Hill Education Center (JEH) 1500 McDaniel Avenue, Evanston, IL 60201.
We are available, by appointment, Monday-Friday, 8:30 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. EXCEPT Wednesdays.
Saturday and evening hours, during busy registration season, by appointment.

Sign-up for Evanston's Savings for Success program!
Savings for Success is a program that provides Evanston D65 families with a way to work together to save for their children's futures. It's a rewards and savings program designed to make post-high school education more accessible and achievable for all District 65 students. Parents/guardians with a child in kindergarten, first, and sixth grade in any District 65 school can sign up!
It's FREE and provides $50 to $100 to initially fund your child's account. Complete this inquiry form to start the enrollment process.
