McGaw YMCA Summer Learning Program

Provides children meaningful literacy, and STEAM experiences that contribute to their academic growth, support their social emotional development and foster a sense of belonging. This 6- week program operates at two Evanston program sites serving 200 students through sites at Oakton and  King Arts. 

Priority will be given to: Students who are not yet at grade level but not more than 1.5 years below grade level expectations in reading and/or math.  Additional priority will be given to students who qualify for free and reduced lunch. This is an excellent program for students who need additional time and practice with grade level learning.
