Summer Learning

In collaboration with our community partners, we are excited to offer a wide range of academic and enriching summer offerings!

For summer 2025, families whose students fit the profile of each program will be invited to apply. Family-teacher conferences (February 10-13) are a great opportunity to discuss options if you believe your student is a candidate for one of the programs below.

Program grade levels refer to students' grade levels in the 2024-2025 school year, not their rising grade levels in the 2025-2026 school year.

Meta Summer Experience (MSX)

Provides incoming or current middle schoolers with the opportunity to experience a STEAM learning environment focused on community, history and storytelling.

JumpStart

JumpStart is designed to give kindergarten-bound students who attended JEH Early Childhood Center additional support needed to develop kindergarten readiness.

Newcomers Summer Learning

Newcomers

Curriculum experiences designed and delivered by teachers who specialize in working with second language learners to address language development and unfinished learning for students new to the country

Extended School Year Program

ESY (Extended School Year) Program

This program is provided to students who have been found eligible through their IEP. The five-week program provides specialized instruction aligned with a student's IEP goals. Students will be provided individual support around academics, social emotional functioning, and independence.
