E-Learning FAQs and Technology Resources

How does my child access e-learning?

This may vary depending on the age of the child.

If your student is in a younger grade, please look for an email communication from your classroom teacher.  The link to join either Zoom or Google Meets will most likely be provided in your child’s SeeSaw or Google Classroom account.  You access SeeSaw through Clever.

If your students are in older grades, the educator will most likely post the link in Google Classroom.

What is Clever and how do I get to it?

Clever is a tool that District 65 uses to allow students to log into many of our online tools in one place using one username and password.

This is where your child will find SeeSaw, STMath, Reading AtoZ, EPIC, GreatMinds (Eureka), etc.

A student must log into Clever first and access SeeSaw through Clever in order for the student to access their D65 Classroom. Please do not log into SeeSaw directly through the app on the iPad. Please see the directions for logging into Clever below.

How do I access other technology?

How do I access technology helplines?

If you are not able to find the link for the classroom meeting, please contact your teacher and our school.

If your device is not working or one of the applications is not working, please call the technology support line at 847-859-8100.  Support is available in English and Spanish.

Can my child use a personal device (not a D65 device) to access e-learning?

We strongly encourage the use of a D65 device since it will be easier to follow along with the teacher and for support to be provided. If you must use a personal device, please access Clever using  your web browser and allow some additional time to set up for remote learning in case things need to be downloaded.

What do I do if my child does not have wifi at home?

Please contact your school secretary and the school will work to support this need.
