Elementary Winter Athletics

BASKETBALL

Season: January 18-February 22

Details regarding practices and games: Coaches and school organizers are volunteers from respective schools who are responsible for scheduling their team practices. Each team will play six games at Nichols Middle School on Saturdays.

CHEERLEADING

Season: January 7-February 22

Details regarding practices and games: Cheerleaders will spend 4 sessions learning cheers/routines, then cheer at the 10 a.m. basketball games each Saturday for the 4th/5th grade basketball league.

Practices: Tuesdays, Jan. 7-28, 6:30-7:30 p.m.

Games: Saturdays, Jan. 18-Feb. 22, 10-11 a.m.

Volunteer coaches are needed and will receive instruction from Chicago Loves Dance on how to help coordinate cheers during the games.

ULTIMATE FRISBEE

Season: January 16-February 20

Details regarding practices and games: Skill drills and league play are scheduled for Thursdays, 5-7 p.m.

REGISTRATION

Registration opened Monday, November 11. All players must be registered by Friday, January 3.
