The Illinois State Board of Education annually releases a School Report Card that shows how each school, district, and the State is performing on a wide range of educational goals. It includes information on student achievement, district finances, and school demographics. The School Report Card was revised in 2013 to be more user-friendly and to provide data on a wider range of indicators. Like the older version, the new School Report Card will display information on student characteristics and performance. In addition, it will include information on student academic growth and school performance trends, extracurricular programming, and summary data on the 5Essentials Survey.
