Equity and Family and Community Engagement (FACE)
Engagement starts with a welcome smile, staff that listen and care, and a deep commitment to partner with families and the community in educating children. In District 65, we are committed to creating a variety of ways, rooted in equity, mutual respect, honesty, and trust, to engage and welcome families into our schools.
All members of a child’s family are seen as partners in their education and have opportunities to assist, learn, and volunteer. We recognize this looks different for everyone and are committed to meeting families where they’re at in order to make a meaningful and supportive connection between home and school.
