curriculum and instruction at Lincolnwood
Lincolnwood teachers and staff utilize differentiation, technology, and other engaging activities to provide comprehensive, dynamic instruction. Each week students receive instruction in music, visual arts and dramatic movement in addition to library and media services. Our goal is to provide each student with the support and/or challenge they need to be successful each and every day.
Supported by the
instructional leadership team, the professional development at Lincolnwood focuses on culturally relevant teaching, response to intervention and school climate. In addition to collaborating on academics, the teachers and staff utilize a Positive Behavior Intervention System (PBIS) and incorporate social-emotional development into their classrooms as appropriate. Students are expected to follow the rules and expectations outlined in the
student handbook.
