Members of the community are welcome and invited to address the School Board during open public meetings. However, the voicing of personal attacks against any district employee is not allowed.
The public may sign up at the beginning of the meeting to address the School Board on district-related topics. Speakers are called in the order in which they sign up to speak. To help ensure all voices are heard, individuals have a maximum of three minutes. If there are more than 20 speakers, each speaker is given the pro-rated portion of one hour. We encourage public speakers to provide their written statement to the School Board Secretary so that they can become a part of the permanent record of the School Board.
Please note that it is not customary for the Board to respond to public comments. The best way to communicate with Board Members is by emailing schoolboard@district65.net.
