Current District 65 employees may access specific benefit forms and documents through the District's First Class email system. Once logged in to First Class, click on the Lighthouse Logo where it reads 'District 65 Employees'. Under the list of departments, click on Human Resources, then click on Frequently Requested Documents and Forms. Employees will find insurance information in the 'Benefits' folder.

Benefits for District 65 employees include:

Medical Insurance - Employees may select from two comprehensive medical HMO coverage plans and one PPO coverage plan.

Dental Insurance - Employees may select from either an HMO coverage plan or a PPO coverage plan.

Flexible Spending Account - Employees may use pre-tax dollars to pay for expenses not covered by health insurance.

Pension Plan - District 65 contributes a portion of employees' gross income to the Teacher's Retirement System (TRS) or Illinois Municipal Retirement Fund (IMRF).

Tax-Deferred Annuity - Employees may set aside pre-tax earnings for retirement while lowering current taxable income.

Life Insurance - Employees will receive portable term life insurance at no cost.

Long Term Disability - Employees are provided with a maximum of 60% of earnings for a non-job related disability.

Employee Assistance Program - Employees and family members are eligible for this free counseling support service.

Supplemental Accident Insurance - Employees may enroll in this optional accident and illness insurance.

Legal Counseling Services - Employees may enroll in this optional legal advice service.
