ATHLETICS
The goal of Haven Middle School is to provide student-athletes with an opportunity to compete successfully in a middle school program that is an integral part of their educational experience. The experience will provide a personalized learning environment with equitable participation opportunities for student-athletes to develop their leadership potential. Win or lose, Haven Middle School Athletic Department will encourage student-athletes to provide a winning effort, exhibit sportsmanship, and demonstrate respect for all.
The vision in the sports of soccer, basketball, and volleyball will be to develop our student-athletes into productive contributing citizens of our community and society. The emphasis will focus on providing our athletes a positive foundation for their development within the program, creating allegiance between the middle school and high school, establishing friendly participation and sportsmanship, and fostering a spirit of school loyalty and pride. We believe in the dignity and worth of each individual.Louis Jones jonesl@district65.net
