BATTLE OF THE BOOKS FOR PRIMARY STUDENTS (K-2) - This program runs between November and April. With the help of their parents, students read 18 books from a list of 20+ books and write 2 questions per book. The students meet in April and May to put together teams, practice answering questions and then participate in the Battle of the Books in May.
BATTLE OF THE BOOKS (4th & 5th) - This program runs from November to April as well. Students read a set number of books and form teams that compete in a district-wide competition in May.
CHORUS - Chorus is composed of 4th and 5th-grade students who work with Mr. Smith on Friday mornings at 8:15 am. The chorus performs for the winter and spring shows, at the Teacher Luncheon in May and at other times in the year as needed.
