Strings on Things began as the Nichols Guitar Club but has expanded to include instruction for ukelele, mandolin, and banjo. Guitars remain our most popular instrument for new musicians so the club focuses on six strings. Strings on Things is an excellent alternative to buying an instrument and paying for lessons when the guitar may just be a passing fancy. We supply the instruments and basic instruction so kids can see if they enjoy playing without a major investment. No experience is needed, but practicing is mandatory. The club is moderated and taught by Mr. Finneran who will soon mark his 50th anniversary of playing the guitar.
