• Positive Behavior Intervention and Supports

PBIS logo Positive Behavior Intervention and Supports (PBIS) is the District 65-adopted approach to behavior intervention and supports that help children achieve important social and learning outcomes while preventing problem behaviors and improving school climate.

    Mission
Establish a positive environment for well rounded learners, both academically and socially by setting and reinforcing behavior expectations.

    Vision
We aim for all students to be strongly supported and feel successful at school and in the community. Our goal is to create young adults who are positive, contributing members of society.

    Nichols Pride Program
Nichols Pride Program is a secondary intervention used for students who are not responding to primary interventions. The program monitors progress toward school wide or individual behavioral goals through the use of Daily Pride Reports (DPR) and uses school-based contingencies to reinforce positive behavior. Click here to learn more about the Nichols Pride Program.
