  • Student Service Council Begins!

We are pleased to announce the addition of the Kingsley Student Service Council for the 2017-2018 school year. This committee, which includes two student representatives from each of the 4th and 5th grade classrooms, will meet once a month on Thursday mornings before school from 8:30 until school starts. Our goal will be to work as a team to plan service projects, plan penny drives and other fundraisers, and communicate to families through letters and the school website. Please stay posted for our upcoming projects and fundraising efforts. Our initial meeting is Thursday, October 5th, at 8:30 am in Room 203.

  • Unity Day is October 25th

Unity Day is October 25 and we would like for everyone to wear orange. Unity day is when we stand together against bullying while unifying for kindness, acceptance, and inclusion. The color orange provides a powerful, visually compelling expression of solidarity. The vibrant statement becomes a conversation starter, sending the unified message to kids to know that they are not alone. We have posters to display and bookmarks for each student. We are also considering providing each student with an orange "Be Brave" shirt to wear on Wednesday, 10/25.
