• Classes and Workshops for D65 Families

    D65 Knitting Club Educate. Engage. Empower. Throughout the school year, the Family and Community Engagement team coordinates several FREE classes and workshops open to all District 65 family members. Classes are for adults but children are always welcome. Several offerings are made available through collaboration with community partners.     Fall, winter, spring, and summer sessions are offered at no cost to families. Childcare is available. Recurring programming includes:

    GED Classes (partnership with Oakton Community College)

    Preparation and support for the high school equivalency exam

    Knitting Club 

    Learn to knit or work on knitting projects with experts while making friends

    English Conversation

    Learn English while having fun!

    Spanish Conversation

    Improve your Spanish conversation skills!
