• Vacation Attendance Policy

    In accordance with Illinois state attendance codes, vacations are recorded as unexcused absences. In the event a family has a planned vacation, parent(s)/guardian(s) are responsible for submitting a Planned Absence Notification Form. This form will serve as notification to a student’s school administration of a family's planned vacation no less than two weeks prior to the student’s absence. The Planned Absence Notification Form does not excuse a student’s absence. Students who are absent for ten or more consecutive days, due to vacation, will be withdrawn from the school attendance roster and will need to re-enroll upon returning to school. The Planned Absence Notification form can be found in the main office of your child’s school.
