Khol's Children Museum Trip 2011
District 65’s School Age Childcare (SACC) Program provides a nurturing, caring and safe environment for children before and after school.  
SACC is available for children enrolled in District 65 schools, kindergarten through 5th grade, ages five through 12.  A copy of the application form is available on this page. Services are provided at the ten elementary school sites and both magnet school sites during the school year on school days.  Childcare is not offered during District 65 school holidays.  An Optional Care program is available on school improvement days for a non-refundable, additional fee. The complete fee schedule is listed below. Families can track due dates and payments using the attached 2012-13 SACC PAYMENT SCHEDULE-12-13.pdf.  
Families may register for AM care only, for PM care only, or for both session. Before care begins at 7:00 am and ends when school begins.  After care begins at the close of school and ends at 6:00 pm. There is a late charge for every minute after 6:00pm. Children are served a nutritious, USDA approved breakfast and snack daily. Sample Monthly menus can be viewed or printed from this page.   
School-age child care offers a planned curriculum; homework time & assistance, oral reading & story time, arts & crafts, music & drama, nutrition projects, science exploration & much more.

SACC Annual Application Process
        2013 Kindergarten Registration is now open!
To enroll your child(ren) utilize the attached SACC 2013 application0.pdfand SACC Parent Packet.pdf plus USDA/CACFP form due the summer of 2013.
Review the annual checklist (bottom of the application front page) regarding required information and directions (copies of docs. are ok).
Space is limited at each site and availability is on a first-come, first-served basis.
* Current/returning 2012 parents, registration for 2013 begins effective 6/12/13. A completed SACC 2013 application packet is also needed. This includes a completed parent packet with fees (each school year) in addition to the (available in the summer) 2013 usda/cacfp form (sections 1,5 & 6). No physical or birth certificate needed for current/returning parents.*
Note: A completed application packet must be received within our office along with payment to confirm enrollment.

We are located at the Joseph E. Hill (JEH) building within the Early Childhood office at 1500 McDaniel Avenue, Evanston.

SACC Fees and Payment Info:

Weekly and Optional Care fees are as follows

AM Care Only - $37.00/wk
PM Care Only - $75.00/wk
AM & PM Care - $112.00/wk
Optional Care for the entire school year (9 days covered) is $250. Optional Care fees may be pro-rated based on the number of Optional Care days that remain at time of enrollment. To participate your child(ren) must be enrolled in at least one of our available sessions (i.e AM or PM).
* Initial fees include a $50.00 non-refundable registration fee for 1st child and $25.00 for each additional child*
* Regular payments are normally paid in 2 weeks installments at a time (see SACC payment schedule)*
* Address payments to D65 Child Care and indicate your child's name or id# on your payment*
* When providing Optional Care payments parents should contact Ms. Carter or Mr. Frost to confirm availability prior to payment*  
Optional Care
For 2012-13 there are seven Optional Care Half Days: 10/3 (Adler Planetarium), 11/7 (Pickwick Theater), 12/5 (Cosmic Bowling), 1/16 (Chicago Kids Co. play), 2/6 (Orbit Roller Skating), 4/10 (Jumpzone), 5/1 (ETHS Field Day) and two Optional Care Full Days: 10/19 (Lincoln Park Zoo) & 2/15 (Museum of Science & Industry). Information regarding planned trips will be provided later.  Field trips are often planned for Optional care days. Past trips have also included visits to Legoland (Schaumburg), assorted live plays (Marriott Theatre- Lincolnshire), Raven Theatre (Chicago), The Museum of Science & Industry (Chicago), The Peggy Notebaert Nature Museum (Lincoln Park), and the Shedd Aquarium (Chicago).
During 2011-12, there were seven Optional Care Half Days: 10/5 (Khol's Children Museum), 11/2 (Mudlark Theatre performance), 12/7 (Pickwick Theatre), 1/11 (Striding Lion Org. performance), 2/1 (Waveland - Cosmic Bowling), 4/11 (Pickwick Theatre), and 5/2 (NU tour & baseball game) and three Optional Care Full Days: 10/21 (Gameworks), 2/17 (Orbitz Skate Center) and 6/6 (Chinese Acrobats performance).
*To participate in our Optional Care program children must be enrolled in at least one of our available sessions
(i.e. am or pm)
*Fees for Optional Care are non-refundable, but can be pro-rated based on optional care days that remain at time of enrollment in the Optional Care program

Food and Snack information

Breakfast is served during morning care and snacks are available to students participating in the afternoon care.
