Families play an important role in the education of children. District 65 appreciates its partnership with parents, including the many volunteer hours that parents give to the school community.
The pages under this drop down tab are intended primarily for parents or students in District 65. Information provided here includes how to report a child's absence from school, when the school day starts and ends, and information about how to request student records or register to attend a District 65 school.
Other resources designed and published to assist District 65 parents are also available in this area of the District 65 web site.
District 65 families have access to a parent portal that provides access to information about their children's attendance, grades, and other information that helps keep them connected to their child's school. The attached document was created to help parents navigate the Parent Portal. SISK12 Parent Portal Navigation for Parents FINAL 2.pdf
In addition to resources on the District web site, parents are also encouraged to visit the local school web site and teacher pages, talk to their local school PTAs, or visit the PTA Council web site where additional resources and information are available for parents.

*In 2000, the Evanston/Skokie Council of PTAs established an annual volunteer award to honor the life of Phyllis Ganser. Phyllis attended Evanston/Skokie schools, and was the mother of three children who attended Walker, Chute and ETHS. Her youngest child, Adam, is a junior at ETHS. Until her death, Phyllis was a tireless PTA volunteer who set a high standard for dedication to our community of children. In her various roles, Phyllis always made a point of seeking out those volunteers who addressed the needs of all children. We are pleased to have the opportunity to honor her memory in this way.
