Indoor and outdoor spaces at District 65 facilities are available for public use after approved permit is issued.
To reserve space, a Building Use application, Hold Harmless agreement, and where applicable, Certificate of Insurance and fees are required.
Applications to use space within a school require prior approval of the building principal. Applications are reviewed to ensure availability and to identify required documentation and fees.
The Joseph E. Hill Education Center (JEH) is available only for district, school or PTA-sponsored activities.
Completed applications can be faxed (847-328-7459), mailed, or dropped off at the reception desk located in the first-floor lobby at 1500 McDaniel Avenue, Evanston, IL. Only completed applications with all required documentation will be processed. Applications are processed in the order in which they are received. Please allow up to 10 days for applications to be processed. Applicable fees are due seven days prior to the activity.
No individual or organization may use District 65 facilities without a valid permit, payment of applicable fees, and submission of all required documents as listed below.

Application to Distribute Materials
As outlined in school board policy 8:25 Advertising and Distributing Materials in Schools by non-school Entities, community, education, charitable, recreational, or similar groups may advertise events pertinent to students' interests or involvement. This may include displaying posters in areas reserved for community postings, distributing flyers to students, or being included in the school's or District's website where appropriate. All materials and literature must be pre-approved for posting or distribution, be student-oriented, and have the sponsoring organization's name prominently displayed.
For approval to post or distribute materials in the schools, use the Application for Distribution of Materials form and send with a copy of the materials to the Registrations & Permits desk at JEH Education Center |

Commercial companies and political candidates or organizations are prohibited from advertising in schools, on the school grounds, or on school or District websites Please allow three working days for applications to be processed.
