Indoor and outdoor spaces at District 65 facilities are available for public use after approved permit is issued.

To reserve space, a Building Use application, Hold Harmless agreement, and where applicable, Certificate of Insurance and fees are required.

Applications to use space within a school require prior approval of the building principal. Applications are reviewed to ensure availability and to identify required documentation and fees. 

The Joseph E. Hill Education Center (JEH) is available only for district, school or PTA-sponsored activities.

Completed applications can be faxed (847-328-7459), mailed, or dropped off at the reception desk located in the first-floor lobby at 1500 McDaniel Avenue, Evanston, IL. Only completed applications with all required documentation will be processed. Applications are processed in the order in which they are received. Please allow up to 10 days for applications to be processed. Applicable fees are due seven days prior to the activity. 

No individual or organization may use District 65 facilities without a valid permit, payment of applicable fees, and submission of all required documents as listed below.

*High risk activities include but are not limited to physical activities, martial arts, fun fairs or use of water, fire, ladders or scaffolding.

Questions about space availability in a school building should be directed to the individual school.
Application to Distribute Materials
Community, education, charitable, recreational, or similar groups may advertise events pertinent to students' interests or involvement.  This may include displaying posters in areas reserved for community posters, having flyers distributed to students, or being included in the school's or District's website where appropriate.  All materials and literature must be student-oriented and have the sponsoring organization's name prominently displayed.

Completed applications along with a copy of the information/materials to be distributed can be either faxed (847-328-7459), mailed, or dropped off at the Registration and Permits desk located in the first floor lobby of the JEH Education Center, 1500 McDaniel Avenue, Evanston, IL. 

No individual or organization may distribute materials without prior approval.  Please allow three working days for applications to be processed.  Questions about the distribution of materials should be directed to the Information Services Department (847-492-5887).
