  • District 65 to Seek Operating Referendum

    On Tuesday, January 10, the District 65 School Board unanimously approved a resolution to put a question on the April 4, 2017 election ballot asking for authorization to increase property taxes to support school operations.

    On January 9, the District 65 team welcomed Dr. Elizabeth Cardenas-Lopez as its new Director of Literacy. She joins the Curriculum and Instruction Dept and will oversee literacy efforts to support all children in District 65.

  • 5Essentials Survey Now Open

    The Illinois 5Essentials Survey is now open for teachers, parents, and students. District 65 has consistently participated in the statewide survey. We are opting to administer it once again to reflect on progress made since last school year and to continue informing the important work happening in our schools.
